Wat ga je doen?

As a part-time mail carrier for PostNL in Vierlingsbeek, you ensure that everyone receives their mail on time. You have the freedom to organize your own schedule, making this a highly flexible job.

Your day starts at the depot on Vrijthof, where you collect the mail for your delivery route. You sort the letters and hop on your bike. Then you're ready to head out! You cycle through the streets of your area, delivering mail to the correct addresses. Along the way, you can enjoy the fresh air and have a chat with the people you meet.

We currently have two vacancies in Vierlingsbeek, both for 3 hours per day:

• One position is for Fridays and Saturdays, totaling 6 hours per week.
• The other position is from Tuesday through Saturday, totaling 15 hours per week.

The mail is usually available for collection from around 10:00 AM, but you can decide for yourself when to start, as long as all mail is delivered before 6:00 PM. This gives you the flexibility to plan your workday in a way that suits you best.

Waar ga je werken?

You will be working for PostNL, the largest postal and parcel delivery company in the Netherlands. Every day, they ensure that millions of letters and parcels reach the right destination, both within the Netherlands and abroad.

As a Mail Carrier, you will work independently. You start your day by collecting the mail and have until 6:00 PM to sort and deliver everything. This gives you a great deal of flexibility to manage your own pace and schedule throughout the day.

The location is easily accessible from Venray, Horst, and Maashees. If you live in one of these areas, you may even be able to cycle to the depot. Do you enjoy working independently outdoors and making people happy by delivering their mail? Then this is the perfect job for you!

Wie ben je?

Anyone aged 16 or older can become a mail carrier. You understand that you are the face of the postal company, so you work accurately and provide excellent customer service. You enjoy being outdoors and staying active. As a mail carrier, you like being on the move and take pride in making people happy by delivering their mail.

What you need:

• A smartphone that you can use during work for communication and route planning
• A sturdy bicycle with a metal luggage rack
• Availability for 3 hours per day, either in the morning or afternoon
• Flexibility to agree on a suitable work schedule together with your supervisor or team

Wat mag je verwachten?

• A gross hourly wage of €14.99 for employees aged 18 and over;
• Youth wage: €11.58 per hour for 16-year-olds and €13.03 per hour for 17-year-olds;
• 8% holiday allowance;
• Flexible working hours that can easily be combined with other activities;
• A part-time position of 6 or 15 hours per week, Either Friday and Saturday or from Tuesday to Saturday, approximately 3 hours per day;
